Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia
With eighty years of history on its shoulders, this celebration of grape harvest attracts not only a passionate audience of wine drinkers but also many tourists cajoled by the festive atmosphere. The Fiesta Nacional is also an opportunity to visit one of the most popular and picturesque regions in Argentina. The highlights of the fair are the election of the “Reina Nacional de la Vendimia”– the local pageant queen of wine harvesting – and the fireworks show.
Düsseldorf—Germany| February 19th ~ 21st
ProWein
Since its first edition in 1994 in North Rhine–Westphalia, ProWein has become one of the most important local and international wine trade fairs, as well as the largest meeting point for wine and spirits manufacturers. Due to its increasing success, ProWein decided to breach out of Europe and extend its activities with two fairs aimed at Asian markets: ProWein Asia (in Singapore and Hong Kong) and ProWein China.
Milan—Italy | April 4th ~ 9th
Salone del Mobile Milano
This year, the most happening event in Milan will take place in spring as usual, on 4th-9th April, with many design and architecture lovers, many from abroad, filling the city. The main event will take place in the new exhibition center in Rho – the same structure that hosted Expo – ready to welcome about two thousand exhibitors and 300,000 visitors. The city instead will be filled with events from the wonderfully rich and varied itinerary of the Fuori Salone with dozens of exhibitions, lectures and events in bars and clubs.
New York—USA | April 19th ~ 30th
Tribeca Film Festival
Every year, for two weeks, the Big Apple celebrates independent cinema during one of its most relevant cultural events, whose history is embedded in New York City itself. The festival started in 2002, when the city had barely moved on from 9/11, thanks to the initiative sparked by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig Hatkof, eager to see the city rise again, through cinema. Now in its 16th edition, the Tribeca Film Festival has shown more than 1,400 movies from over 80 countries.
Verona—Italy / April 9th ~ 12th
Vinitaly
The largest wine exhibition in the world, a yearly event that attracts impressive numbers of visitors to Verona, with 130,000 professionals and 4,100 exhibitors attending the event last year. This year, to maintain the numbers, the fair will focus on the quality and excellence of wines from all over the world, while also encouraging business trading. Made in Italy products will be highlighted in special areas and during specific slots.
Aarhus—Denmark| April 27th ~ 29th
Tree of Codes
A contemporary interpretation of the Tree of Codes ballet will take over Aarhus, the second city, thanks to the best dancers of the Opéra National in Paris. Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and British producer Jamie XX curated the scenography and musical parts, resulting in a mix between classic ballet and contemporary dance. The same show went sold out in New York, Paris and Manchester.

Duty Free & Travel Retail Asia Pacific Summit
More than 300 exhibitors over 10,000 square meters. The sheer figures of the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference speak loud and clear about the success of the event, which is focused on a very promising business – duty free sales and travel retail, whose revenues are mostly due to airport stores. This trend is in vogue especially in the Asia-Pacific area with its famous hub airports, as TFWA emphasizes every year. The Venice Biennale
The 57th International Art Exhibition, curated by Christine Macel and organized by the Biennale di Venezia, will be open to the public from May 13th to November 26th, at the Giardini and at the Arsenale and it will be entitled VIVA ARTE VIVA. The preview will take place on May 10th, 11th and 12th, whereas the awards ceremony and the inauguration will take place on May 13th, 2017. French curator Macel declared that the forthcoming Biennale will be a journey from “what lies within to the infinite.”

Mille Miglia
The 35th edition of the famous Mille Miglia is an event not to be missed as it exhibits the veritable beauties of Italy. This year the race will start on the 18th and end on the 21st of May, the route crosses 1,800 kilometers of Italian roads, following the traditional itinerary from Brescia to Rome and back. Not to mention of course, this fascinating race is reserved exclusively for classic cars which attracts participants from all over the world.

London Wine Fair
Welcoming more than 1.5 million visitors every year, the Olympia Center in London is home to the biggest exhibition space in the United Kingdom. On May 22nd-24th, Olympia becomes the house of wine, where the 36th edition of the London Wine Fair will take place, a leading international wine trade event. More than 7,000 exhibitors from all over the world come together, with over 13,000 exquisite wines to taste. The event is a significant launch pad for new wines and businesses.

Vinexpo
An event not to be missed for wine lovers and professionals, Vinexpo – established in 1981 – attracts more than two thousand exhibitors from 42 counties every year. Among the events scheduled for the forthcoming edition, there is a dedicated program for buyers and a “bio-event” that focuses on an organic harvest. Spain will be the official “host,” as it is not only the third largest wine exporter in the world, but over the past few years it has also remarkably modernized the style of its wines, designed innovative packaging and improved the price/quality ratio.
Copenaghen—Denmark | July 7th ~ 16th
Copenhagen Jazz Festival
During the ’60s, the Danish capital unexpectedly became one of the most important jazz locations in Europe. Musicians such as Dexter Gordon, Ben Webster and Kenny Drew all found their home here. 1979 was the year of the first Jazz Festival, which hosted some of the biggest names in international jazz such as Dizzy Gillespie, Chick Corea, Caetano Veloso and Manhattan Tansfer. This year Herbie Hancock, Jamie Cullum and Filippo Cosentino will play, among many others.

Pitti Fragranze
The 15th edition of the international event on olfactory culture and perfume, boasts an audience of exhibitors and visitors from more than 50 countries invading the Leopolda station. Thousands of fragrances will make their mark, this includes both personal perfumes and house fragrances. The last edition was a huge success compared to its predecessors with a 4% increase in buyers from abroad, and 300 registered brands.

Melbourne International Art Festival
Taking place on October 5th-22nd this year, the Melbourne Art Festival is an unusually long festival full of events ranging from music to visual arts, dance, theater and circus. Every year the Naomi Milgrom Foundation asks a renowned international architect to design the temporary pavilion made from natural materials. The aim of Melbourne Festival is to use the transformational nature of the arts, culture and creativity to bring about positive change for individuals, communities, and the spaces in which they live.

St. Barth Gourmet Festival
A haute cuisine festival in a stunning and unusual setting – the island of Saint Barth in the French Antilles, where every year starred chefs are invited to try out culinary experiments in the middle of the Caribbean. The festival takes place in November, lasts three days and has an ever-changing director who invited other chefs to join them. 2016 saw the participation of Christian Le Squer, a chef at the Fours Seasons George V Hotel in Paris, awarded with three Michelin stars.
